Soar Kingfisher

A majestic kingfisher soars up from the water in this limited edition print of my original watercolour painting.  I was lucky enough to see this beauty rise from the water while walking along the Royal Canal between Christmas and New Year.  I heard the splash as he hit the water and spun around to see him rise in a flash of electric blue, from the water.  I was on a high afterwards.  Such a privilege to see this rather elusive wild creature.

The A3(42 cm x 29.5cm) sized limited edition print is professionally printed by a small local firm located just 7km from my studio.  Printed on Hahnemuhle fineart William Turner cotton paper, it has the look and feel of an original watercolour painting.  It will be titled, numbered and signed in pencil on the reverse, before being lovingly and carefully packaged and posted out directly from my studio in the heart of Ireland!
